Aka, a wild street kid living with his gang in the post-apocalyptic, nature-consumed world of Jangala, must travel into the depths of the darkest part of the rainforest, into a place called the Abyss, to track down the magical being who can help him free his crew from the brutal gang that just took over town. Yet the Abyss is a dangerous site; an eerie place where many go in yet none come out. Could it be because of the vicious beasts living within? Or the magical forest spirits? Or perhaps it's the dark and mythical creature called The Hunger, which is said to lurk in its depths... always ravenous... always eager to feed.
